Fairies,Fairies,Fairies

Since Victorian times, many people have acquired a 'Fairy Fascination'. They are attracted to anything 'fairy', whether that be jewelry, lawn ornaments, sculptures, literature or pictures.

Even to this day, this theme reappears in the literary fairy lore of our own day, from Tinkerbelle to Tolkien.

In celebration of this theme, we have a pretty, gentle silver pendant resembling the 'best' in fairies. Her flowing hair, sinewy body, and of course her gentle wings accentuate the most wonderful features of a 'fairy'. In addition to the lovliness of the fairy, we have attached a quartz crystal of 'Siberian Blue Quartz'.

The mystic lore associated with Siberian Blue Quartz say it can help to activate the 5th & 6th chakras, the energy centers of communication and inner vision. It is said that it can enhance one's psychic abilities, such as clairvoyance & telepathy, and to increase visionary experience.

Because of this, the Siberian Blue Quartz is a great companion stone to the fairy pendant.

Pearl Jewelry - Jewelry with a 'Touch of Class'

Hello

Have you ever considered pearl silver jewelry? Pearls can give your jewelry a 'Touch of Class'. Back in the 1950's it was standard fashion to own a pearl necklace. I think pearls definitely have a 'classic' style that never goes out of fashion. Also, pearls set in silver go so well together and can be worn with everyday clothing and your most prized formal attire.

Pearls come in a variety of different colors, some natural and some may be dyed. The colors range from pink, white, grey or black. Once you get away from the traditional round white pearl necklace and plain pearl earrings, the styles can be quite limitless. For example, you can select a multicolored pearl pendant with three pearls, one pink, one black, and one white. Or you can opt for pearl earrings that dangle in multiple strands of silver or have a contemporary design.

See some of our pearl earrings HERE.

Pink Coral Sterling Silver Jewelry

If you love blue turquoise sterling silver jewelry, a great way to accessorize the turquoise is adding some pink coral pieces. The light creamy pink color coordinates well with the deep blue turquoise stones.

There is something about these two natural pieces, one being stone and the other coral that just seem to go together. Both gems are porous and fragile.

Coral, along with turquoise, are more brittle than other gems. It measures only 3.5 on the Mohs scale and the splendor of the coral will diminish if not taken care of. Since both coral and turquoise are porous, they can get damaged if immersed in water for too long.

Spherical Silver Gemstone Jewelry

Spherical Gemstone Jewelry -
Dare to be different!
Spherical gemstone jewelry is about loving gemstones. There is also something about a sphere shape being reminiscent of a 'crystal ball' and ones's destiny.
It's like owning your own mini-crystal ball.

If you believe in gemstone healing and psychic energies, then you will enjoy spherical gemstone jewelry.

Spherical jewelry may come in any gemstone imaginable, but the most popular may be rose quartz, amethyst, black onyx and even fiber optic glass. Pick a stone that you 'may be drawn to' in making your choice in gemstones. This may be the stone whose properties you need most.

The picture to the left is a 'Silver Band of Elephants' pendant. It is a detailed design of several elephants held together by their trunks encompassing a solid 12mm amethyst sphere.

Silver Jewelry Cleaning Tips

Hello,
After spending years of selling silver jewelry, I have found that the BEST way to clean sterling silver is with a jewelry polishing cloth. The cloth usually has two inner sheets for cleaning and two outer sheets for polishing.

Use the inner sheets first for cleaning tarnish off of the piece of jewelry. You will see lots of black tarnish come off onto the cloth. Once you are finished cleaning you can start polishing. Use the outer layers to polish your piece. You will notice the silver will sparkle and shine!!

This is the best way to clean the jewelry, especially if you have a piece with a gemstone in it. The cloth does not destroy or damage the gemstones. Some gemstones may be very delicate and can be harmed by using cleaning solutions.

Hope this helps!!
